Sarens supported the lifting of a roof section in Nieuwpoort, Belgium, for Spantech International. The project required a compact and efficient lifting solution to handle the roof section safely and effectively within the available site conditions.

The operation was carried out using an LTM 1110, selected based on its capacity and suitability for the required lift. The crane, along with its counterweights, was transported to site by road. This ensured that all components were delivered efficiently and ready for assembly.

Crane assembly was completed within one hour, allowing lifting activities to begin promptly and minimising downtime on site. The work was executed by a small, focused team, with two personnel involved in carrying out the lift. The streamlined setup and execution enabled the operation to be completed efficiently within the planned timeframe.

The crane remained on site for one day, supporting the handling of the roof section in a controlled and coordinated manner. The presence of the roof constructor on site contributed to smooth communication and alignment during the lifting process.

Careful planning and the selection of appropriate equipment were essential to ensure safe execution. The operation demonstrates the importance of efficient mobilisation, precise coordination, and the use of the right lifting solution to meet project requirements.
